Dear SJS Parents,
It is expected and strongly encouraged that SJS players participate in our fall and winter clinics as well as summer camps. The choice to play for another club while a current member of SJS or participate in other clinics and camps run by these clubs will be viewed as not giving a full commitment to SJS.
SJS provides the best in competition, curriculum, coaching and cost. Our program has a proven track record of success. Our clinics, camps, practices and games provide us additional ways to accurately evaluate and critique your daughters play and ability. It enables us to ensure that players in our program are on the correct teams and it helps us to define what aspects of the player's game needs work.
We also understand that having your daughters do too much is not always beneficial to their development in this sport, which is why SJS thoughtfully structures a balanced and competitive year round schedule.
Our high standard of play and reputation is the reason why over 400 former SJS players have moved on to play lacrosse in college and it is that same reason why so many young SJS players and young alumni come back to coach our girls for their future success.
Commitment goes both ways. We support your daughters on and off the field. Once a player has chosen to leave our program or plays for another program in any capacity, SJS reserves the right to no longer support that player in any capacity. Training and college recruitment are two examples.
Thank you for your support in this matter and being apart of the SJS family.
Respectfully,
The SJS Staff
