    TEAM COORDINATORS
Thank you to all of our great SJS parents who as always, have overwhelmingly jumped in with offers to organize, set up/supply tents, snacks, water, gatorade, etc. for their daughters' teams this weekend and throughout the summer! You are the BEST! It's going to be a great season for SJS and we couldn't do it without you!

    Meet you at the tents!

    Team Tournament Tailgating
Tables set with food and beverages in the tents at our tournaments are done so by each individual team as they desire. Please do not help yourself to food unless you are sure that it is being provided by the parents on your team. If you are planning on providing food to the girls on your team, please label the items with SJSL Pink 09, etc. so no one unknowingly absconds with your goodies! The suggested number of tents for each team is four; the players typically use two and parents require two as well. SJS typically groups their team tents together and can easily be found by the tall SJS banner. We like to keep the teams together in one area so as you arrive, just look for the girls in pink and black and join in the set up. Thanks to all in advance for your help!

If parents would like to volunteer to be 'team coordinators' to help the coaches organize psych parties, tourney treats, etc. that would be great! Optional for all teams, but GREAT fun for the girls and a good way for parents from different towns to get to know each other. If you desire to reach out to your team parents please contact Suzanne Johnson for the group email list.

    South Jersey Select Lacrosse Mission
    Post Office Box 129
    Moorestown, NJ 08057

The goal of South Jersey Select Lacrosse is to offer student athletes throughout Southern New Jersey the opportunity to improve their skills, awareness, and athleticism. This will be accomplished thru clinics, camps, and summer showcase tournaments. Though Moorestown based, and originally part of the Moorestown Lacrosse Club, SJSL evolved out of the need to fill a void for all South Jersey girls interested in furthering their lacrosse skills and representing South Jersey at a national level. We are committed to improving each athlete’s level of play by bringing the best players together and enlisting the services of the areas’ best coaches and current collegiate stars. We are dedicated to teaching skills and fostering the player’s understanding of game strategies while having fun in a very competitive environment.

Once a student athlete becomes a member of a SJSL tournament team, it is their responsibility to commit themselves to making every practice, of which there will be a maximum of 20 hours. All teams will practice with one another regardless of age, to maintain a level of continuity and consistency within the program. The high school sports season and the player’s respective school practices will take precedence over SJSL practices. Players that are unable to commit to required activities or exhibit questionable or inappropriate behavior detrimental to the team environment will be replaced by an alternate.

SJSL teams will be entered in National Draw, All Star Express, Champions Cup, Capital Cup, Lax For The Cure and Lax By The Sea. All players will be responsible for travel and hotel costs. SJSL coaches will be available to assist the rising juniors and seniors in their efforts to contact collegiate coaches. All club members have access to individual skill, speed or strength sessions through their coaches.
